Death Certs

I would order the certs from the local register office and give them as much information as you can about the two people - year of birth, Elizabeth's husband, other family members who might have notified the deaths - and they will make sure they are the right people before charging you.

Yep, this is the family, Betsey aged 12, is the daughter Elizabeth, one of them died 1852 but not sure which and obvioulsy by the next census, they had both passed away!.

the actual certificate should have the age on it ................. I have ones from that period and earlier which do have the age.

BUT the age is not put on the record that we can see online



so you would be buying "blind" in the sense that you do not know which one is the mother from the record


......... but the certificate will tell you because the age will be on there.

I havelocated 2 death certs for elaizabth Starks in Plomesgate Suffolk, I believe one is the mother and the other the daughter but is there any way of telling, even if I purchase them? They are from 1852 & 1858 & therefore I believe don't have the age of the deceased on, is that correct? Thanks for any help.
