I know this subject has been "done to death" on the boards but today on one of the "rootsweb" County sites someone has commented that-

"having ordered 10 certificates to beat the increase in price - they all arrived...in seperate envelopes " !!

I think kit says on their site that certificates are sent out seperately regardless of how many are ordered.

Perhaps they should look at sending them together in a way to reduce costs. So much money could be saved if they did. The most I've ordered in one go was six, but they were sent seperately.

I think they have explained.in the past, that it would cost more to put them in one envelope.
they would have to employ people or a system,to do this

Interestingly, it is actually cheaper to send them out separately unless there is an computerised system which will sort and collate certificates for the same address.

The reason for this is that the additional cost of getting a human to do the work is more than that of the postage and an envelope. I used to do costings at work and this is one we did on several occasions - anything that involves additional human effort is a killer, when it comes to costs.
