A book named "Yorkshire Walton-Mate Background & Associations with Thurgoland Wire Mills" and published in New Zealand in 1996, has been recommended to me by a fellow GU member. I have tried to find it on Amazon without success.
Does anyone have any idea where it might be bought in the UK, or failing that abroad? And the cost? Thank you.....................Mavis

Try ringing Waterstones bookshops as if they haven't got ,they may order it for you if it's still in print.

If your Contact owns a copy, ask for the ISBN # on the frontpiece and the name/address of the publisher.

That would help a reputable book seller track it down.
