I am keeping a notebook with my user names and passwords so I dont have this problem again, I hope. I will just have to remember where I have put the notebook!

Unfortunately I have not found Ancestry very helpful when I have contacted them in the past about a malicious tree that somebody put up with Hujen having been 'allegedly adopted from a primitive tribe of cannibals in New Zealand' and one or two other malicious things. But who is going to see the tree unless I tell them where to look?

Speak to Ancestry and get them to merge your accounts.

I found if I signed out of Ancestry and signed in again with my other user name (but had to get a new password as I couldnt remember the old one) I was able to access the tree. The woman who made the comment is apparently a gt granddaughter of one of the sisters of my gt grandfather. Eureka!

I assume there is no way you can log on to ancestry using the old email address?

Hi there brummiejan. I think I used a different email addy for the newer trees and I dont think the 'more' option includes the old one. If I type in a name that is in the first tree it gives me a list of 167 trees with her in (most of which are WRONG) but when I click on my tree it wants me to subscribe.

When the email came I clicked where it said 'click here to view the comment' (or some such) and it said Ancestry was offering me a 14 day free trial, but when I entered my details it denied me the trial as I had one only a few months ago. I am blowed if I want to spend a fortune paying for a sub just to view the comment. I did send a message to Ancestry about the problem but have not had a reply from them. Most frustrating.

Huia getting ever balder.

I wonder what's happened. Assuming then that it's not on the drop-down list for "my trees"? When you see the list there is option "more", have you tried clicking on this?
The other option is to search for a person in your tree and find it that way.

I cannot access the first tree I put on Ancestry, have been unable to for quite a while. I have another tree which I can access (plus about 18 more, recently added). A couple of days ago Ancestry sent me an email saying somebody had added a comment to my first tree re wives and children. I would like to know what her comment was. Can anybody tell me how to get access, or if somebody has a sub to Ancestry would they be able to look for me? If so, please PM me and I will send details. Thank you so much in advance.
