I have Joseph Seaton Helmsley, cabinet maker, in the 1833 Pigots Directory and the 1843 Post Office Directory ay 16 Carthusian Street, Charterhouse Square, London. Therefore it follows that he should be there in the 1841 census.

I've failed to find him in a name search but you can't search the 1841 census by address, so I'm stumped. He should be there aged about 48 with his wife Mary Ann 43 born New York and his son Joseph 14.

Any ideas?
