I have never had trouble printing the census records, but while my back was turned Genes have changed things a little. when I try to print - after carefully setting the print instructions (I've tried more than once) it prints out 7.5x4inches in portrait and 8x5 in landscape.
Can anyone please spot what I might be doing wrong? I've been printing these things quite happily for ages - till now....HELP!

It's OK - I've sorted it by sheer persistence - and by using ancestry instead!

Hi Jillian
I also had problems with the printing of the census off this site very recently. When I asked on the board, there was only one person who answered and they said that they had used it and there was no problem. I'm glad it isn't just me.-JLe

When using Ancestry for censuses I find the best setting is landscape and fit-to-page. Haven't tried GR lately!

I periodically have the same problem. There's no real rhyme or reason for this to happen but, both windows 7 and Apple Mac have a "Grab" function.
I now use this all the time to grab, save and print
