A Silly Question

Could someone please help me? I have been somewhat negligent in keeping my eggs all in one basket and realise That it is not wise to have the one copy of my 4000+ Family tree sitting here on GR. So
want to export it to my computer than make a hard copy. I understand fully how to do this. My silly question is what happens once I download my tree, After copying it I want to return it to this site. Will the space I had for this tree on GR no longer exist? Or can I upload my tree back on again?

Thank you so much Barry. I have the necessary program in my Computer to read the files so can now confidently take the tree off.
