I've discovered a relative in my son-in-law's tree who is related to a friend of mine. I have the friend's tree also, all on Family Tree Maker 2005.

It's all a bit remote. The relationship is something like - my son-in-law's great great aunt Emily Smith married the third cousin twice removed of my friend. Probably rubbish that.

Is there something I can print out that shows this remote relationship?

I am meeting my friend shortly and he's currently going through a bad patch, and I thought a bit of family history might divert from his problems.

I have a tree on Tribal pages that gives connections , just punch in 2 names and you get >>

Fathers ,fathers, sisters brother. etc.

you can gedcom your tree there for free, and it is easy to delete it after you've done the necessary !

It also gives printable reports .
