I am relatively new to family history research but have now got to grips more or less with looking up English census', bmd and parish registers and found the many free ones available. Most of my ancestors were Lancashire born but there may be some in New Zealand. Can anyone point me in the right direction for researching in NZ please?

Hi Teeny.

I'm sure someone on GR from New Zealand could give a better account of how to search records in N.Z than myself...........and whats available......but in the mean time, a few links ( below ) might help.

For a good look at what is available in New Zealand regarding Genealogy, you might try these two links.
