New Family Search Site Images

Has anyone successfully managed to get an image to download from the new Family Search site?

I was so excited to discover that not only do they have burials on it, but certain records have the original image attached! But whenever I try to see the image it just gives me a blank box. I have Adobe Flash 10, and am using Vista.

The site is here http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start

Have just tried the site now and the images are showing for me. You can also zoom in on the image to make it easier to read.

I'm on Windows 7.

EDIT - just tried again and it appears that only the images from America are working. I found my great grandparents marriage in Wiltshire but the image is now showing for that.

I'm not quite sure which part of the Family Search site is new - but the other day I was - unusually - going through the Bishops Transcripts for Northumberland on Family Search, and although I could read the first few images I then started getting a blank box. By random clicking around (don't we all) I found that if I clicked Print I got the image without having to actually print it - though when I did print it worked very well. I didn't in fact download anything so can't comment there.

Whether it works for anything else I can't say1 - but it might be worth trying.

Hmm, so the images are appearing for some then!
I got my husband to try when he got home and he got the same result as me on his Mac.

Off to have another play them, maybe with some random searches! Knowing my luck it'll just be the Cornwall ones that don't work!

Thanks.

Well, I'm now getting a little grey box in the corner of the black box, so that's progress!!

American images are fine, and I got one up from Warwickshire, but nothing pre-1850s roughly!

How frustrating!
