I am trying to trace my mother's natural family who have the name Farleigh and lived in London in the 1920s and posiibley had relatives in Devon.

Carole, it's a bit too vague really. Guessing you have your mother's birth name? I can see a couple of births to an unmarried mother around 1918 so I am guessing also she could be one of those. If so, you could do with her birth cert if you don't already have it.
