Hi Sue, Thanks very much for helping me and everyone else here and those who helped me not long ago! Harry Seale was born in 1904 or 1905. Not sure as my Mum, his daughter was always told he was born in 1901 the same as his wife but our friends on GR put me straight with his little white lie! Can you tell me anything about the other Harry - might that be a relative too?

Hi Liz, I live 100 miles away from Stow on the Wold. I was there at the weekend and spoke to the Priest at Upper and Lower Swell and he was not interested! My GGFather's grave is there in St Mary's churchyard in Upper Swell, he has a good headstone. I feel sure that my GGMother is also there as well as their son in law, my Grandfather but unfortunately there are some stones missing. It's only a tiny graveyard and only a tiny village. I couldn't believe he was unable to help me!

Thank you for your reply
Chrissie

Have you tried contacting the local cemetery or crematorium, they may be willing to do a look up for you, but some places make a charge
