I sent for a death cert which I thought was my relative, however it was'nt

Thought it may be useful for other researchers.

I think you would hit the widest audience if you added a postem at FreeBMD - anybody looking for the birth is very likely to look there.

Include an email address (I strongly recommend having an anonymous online email account for things like this, e.g. at gmail -- you can have that mail forwarded to your "real" email account, too) so someone related can contact you. You can also just give the DOB and parents' names.

I was going to link to the thread and also give it a bump up, but I can't find it. Anybody know where it's at??

Cooper, it's easy, anyhow -- click on the "Info" button beside the entry at FreeBMD and just follow the instructions for adding a postem.

PigletsPal had given it a bump. It should be somewhere within finding distance on the board, if you aren't good at copying and pasting URLs.

Tip for that: delete the 1219742 at the end of the address line up top on your monitor, put 950030 instead, hit Enter, and you'll be there.
