Perhaps the missing one is the Alfred who has been crossed through
He could be the Stephen Alfred Cains who had died and they thought they had to name the children that they had had and not to ones living for the Census
This helps a lot and George Cains and Lily Wellman went on to have 11 children. Tons more to investigate

Bang on and I know who his parents are!!
Can I be a pain and ask how many children there ar to the marriages as I've got 4 after the 1911 Census and a gap between the two on it, so it could be that she had three to the marriage with one dead
