i have taken jonesy advice on searching the 1911 census in the same household as my gran and her children at hendon london

are henry denley b 1882

catherine b 1879 who maybe his wife

roy denley b 1910

ican not find anything about them i.ve looked on free bnd family search no place of birth no marrage how they are related

any help please i would be most grateful

A year or two age difference on census records is quite normal. People often didn't know their dates of birth and just guessed their age! the older the record the worse the problem. I've seen people getting younger on census records ten years apart.

It's mainly down to practise. I've been doing lookups on the boards for about three years now and you get to know where to look for the information and how to find records where names are misspelt etc.
