Is it possible to find out the maiden name/married name of a person through the census?

I've tracked certain ancestors but lose them again as there names change through marriage

Is there any way of searching for someone in order to find their married name?

Thank you

the census wont give maiden names but if there were children and they were registered then you can track them that way
