hi,l have a birth cert.Joseph Paul Mierau born 1904 West Ham.l also have the 1911 cens,which he is not on but should because he would 7years old.however it does say that the mother had a childs death,but l have looked everywhere for death certs/marriage certs every where but cant find him.l have traced all the other 13 children, even spelt differently.
his parents were J.T Mierau / Ada nee Rixon. 1911 cens lived at 52.Argyle Road Canningtown.London.the birth cert address is 81,south Malton Rd. Canning town.has anybody any ideas .thank you for reading this.

I had a look on FreeBMD - just putting Joseph P under forename, leaving surname blank and picking Essex and Middlesex as county areas. No joy. But, he could have died further afield maybe?

Hi Rutland Belle,l dont think this is my joseph Paul,l do know the surnames spellings of the family change ,but his b.cert does say he was born 9th April.1904.and ,dont know any reason he would be in fulham,but l will get a cert to see if it is my Joseph.many thanks for your help.Bette.

I wondered about this one...name unsure but I couldn't find a corresponding birth....?
In script writing from an index, could this be it?

Hi Mrs Grumpy,thanks for your reply,l have the next sons b/c born 1905, although they changed address to the next road.but still in canningtown, the family never went out of the area.but like you say he could have died further afield.l dont think l am going to find him.many thanks for looking.Bette.

Hi Gwyn,many thanks for reply,now this could be it,as l say the..... Mieraus had many ways of spelling the surname.but must admit havent seen that spelling but anything is possible.l will go and look .many thanks for your help.Bette.
