Choccy, I think you've found it. I can't believe it, my mother was telling the truth, my nan did remarry and my mothers brother must be her half brother. thankyou so much to everyone for looking for me.

as far as I know he was still alive in 1920, he was my mothers father and she always told me that he had died in the first world war, but he couldn't have as she had a brother who was born in 1920, maybe he left the family, I don't know, another mystery for me, my family is full of mysteries.

When was he last known to be alive

Could anyone help me, I have been searching for the death of Henry F Ricketts, he was born in Widnes, Cheshire in 1888 but I can't find the death. I would be very grateful if anyone can help me.
