from what I understand Brett Payne is very good at dating photographs and I got the above from googling his name.

Look down the left hand side of the page to where it says "photographs". There are photos of clothes from all the decades in the 19th and 20th century.

Probably not much help in identifying what you need but one of my favourite sites for photos is The Francis Frith Collection-try googling it. Might just throw something up!!

Please, can anyone recommend sites to discover the ages of people in old photographs or when they might have been taken, from either the style of their clothing, or in some cases from the length of time a studio photographer was in business......................Mavis
