There are no Arthur Backmans on FreeBMD or Ancestry so the name can't be correct


Louise is a modern name. It would have been Louisa.


Can you name any of their children? When were they born?

This is the info my friend gave me. It is the grandparents of her partner and this is all he can remember, no birth cert/marriage cert.

I think I will give him a prod to see if it jerks his memory.

Can't see them in 1911

There is only 1 Louisa Backman in 1911 and she is married to John H

I am searching for the marriage of Arthur Backman to Louise Legg. They married in Middlesex (that`s all I have) in the 1890s.

Have tried Ancestry marriages and also Ancestry London marriages but without any luck.

New eyes very much appreciated.
