He should have been a widower both times! First wife Olivia Kemp died Dec 1821

2nd wife Elizabeth slightly pregnant at time of marriage

Of this parish - not quite true!

He was actually a churchwarden of St Mary's Bottesford and all three of them are buried in the family plot.

Just shows that marrying your dead wife's sister had to be concealed a bit!!

Witnesses are not family.

Thomas Spalton and Elizabeth Dolby married at St Annes, Soho, Westminster in the county of Middlesex by Banns on the 9th September 1822. Both signed names

This image is not very clear, I think Herring is correct

Thomas Spalton otp widower to Olivia Dalby otp spinster married at St Leonards Shoreditch in the county of Middlesex by Banns on the 12th January 1824 by Robert Crosby Curate. Both signed names.

Could someone with access please look at the banns/marriages for Thomas SPALTON/Olivia DOLBY and Thomas SPALTON/Elizabeth DOLBY
Olivia and Elizabeth are sisters and they all live in Bottesford Leics.
All details including witnesses would be appreciated!
