Can anyone help me. I have found my family back to 1871 living in liverpool. My ggg gf Dugald hislop born1847 and his son Thomas born 1868 were both born in scotland. Looking at the liverpool family I think Dugald was married before as Thomas is to old to be my ggg gm son. Any information would be a great help to me thank you.

Frances died in 1903 and by the looks of the other tree i have seen he went back to scotland and married again

Thanks for that reply it looks interesting.In 1981 census dugald has young daughter named Christina. Could she be named after her g mother i wonder, and there doesnt seem to be wife for dugald in Scoltald census. I will try carry on looking into this. Thanks for your time and help.
