Mmmmmmm.... to be honest Maud's date and place of birth is a bit of a mystery wonder if theirs a little white fib in the census maybe Maud was born out of marriage as far as i know my grandad john William Seabrook and his brother James were born in London and i believe my Great Grandfather also John William was born in London too bit of a puzzle really i'm wondering if Maud was born in Kent England and not America???????

but siblings have different names!

You really need to buy that marriage certificate ..... that will hopefully give you her father's name, and give us a starting point.


There are several Elizabeth Gold's born during the relevant period


There are three Elizabeth Seabrooks




and Chorlton is in Lancashire, near Manchester!

have you looked on the 1881 census for her its free on Family Search site.
her marriage cert should give her age and fathers name. the marriage should be on FreeBMD

Hi can anyone out there confirm the date and place of birth for my G. Grandmother Elizabeth Gold possibly 1860/61 was she born in Kent or White Chapel London. She was living at 32 Little Albany Street Camden London in 1911 (ST PANCRAS). If ANYONE CAN GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION ON HER OR INDEED MY G.Grandfather John that would be a great help
