Both were mailed on 13.08.05, messages just readable, cards in fair condition stating that sender had just arrived in Rotterdam from South American & will sail end of week for Cardiff, Love to all from Uncle ??? Addressees are: Miss Mary Grant, No 2 High Street, Gilfachgoch, Bridgend, Glam, South Wales & a Mrs Grant, same address. Think Mrs Grant is the sender's sister. Both are view cards. Should I try to trace by 1901 or 1911 address? or should I look for add on Google earth? Or what? I don't want to throw them away. If it were my relative, I'd want to know about them.

Hi Somerset Gal & Click on the Purple - - - - Thank you so much for the quick detective work. Have looked through details & have sent pm to the tree holder for Mary Grant. Both postcards are a little worn at bottom edge so unable read signature clearly, but Miss Mary Grant's card says: My dear Niece I hope that you are all well. We arrived here last Tuesday from south America & will sail end of xxx for Cardiff. Love to all from Uncle(s) (looks like) I & E
The mother's card, view of canal by moonlight, says 'Look here Maggie I have been puzzling my brains all day about the name of my little chum there you can give her this card & tell her it is for her Love from Brotherxx I & Exvanxxx. Will now wait & hope I can post off the cards to the rightful person. Thanks so much. How exciting !!!!!!
