Is 'Knight' an unusual surname?

Searching the Ancestry All England & Wales, Death Index: 1916-2005 results for 'Knight' born before 1865, it comes up with zero. So nobody in 1916 over the age of 61 had the surname Knight? Unlikely isn't it?
