Not sure if this is the right chap, on his sons marriage cert he is Denis Murphy boot and shoe maker, not got him on the Irish 1911 census but possible his son also Denis same street and same occupation, I was then looking forward to today and the 1901 Irish census and have found a possible again same street but he is down as a harness maker, its both leather so anyone think this is the same guy
would be grateful for any help

Hi Pam,
I would say its one of the same,,,,,,,

England it was often called a Cordwainer it covered aspects of leather work.but mainily saddlery.
