I am considering subscribing to one of the above programs. Can someone provide me with suggestions as to what is best? Any help will be appreciated.

Ancestry don`t currently have access to the 1911, but FMP does..

FMP offer the 1911 census from £39.95 for 6 months, with 20% off on renewal, bringing it down to just under £32.00 the next time...

I think thats really good value.

It all depends an what you are researching and what records you are looking for. If you just want E & W census and BMD's then both have these. If you have interests in the London Area, then Ancestry has parish records from the London Metropolitan Archives.

As stated only FMP has the 1911 census - they have sole rights at present - but is comes as an extra, not part of the normal sub.

Horses for Courses as my boss used to say.
