If you have relatives who served in the Australian Imperial Forces(AIF) in World War One, google AIF Project. You will be able to put a name or service number etc into a search and the presentation of the information available is excellent.

The display for each person is taken from their official service records with additional information added about the battles and the region in which the men served.

Very well put together and quite moving.

Also the site www.mappingouranzacs.naa.gov.au is brilliant if you are looking for WW1 soldiers.

All the service records are on there along with the enlistment documents.
