I was going to contact you about that. I had a message from him while I was in tenerife, was home a couple of weeks then away another week, now have my sister coming for a week. I said I would meet him for a coffee when I got back but realy haven't had time, if you are talking to him please tell him I have not forgotten and will eventually get back to him.

Hi Ann :)

I think she was following your advice on Tips. To be honest as this isn't a request for lookups, in my opinion I don't think the duplicate posting thread is such an issue as long as it not duplicated on the same boards. After all GR did put duplicate posting re their 1911 service ;) ok i know they own the joint lol

I think people who post on Chat may find it useful and they don't always look on tips.

You've got a point re the email addresses. :)

Hi, I am a (very) mature student at Swansea University doing a PhD on the history of children and the Swansea Poor Law Union 1834-1910.
I am researching children in Swansea workhouse, Cockett Cottage Homes, the Cambrian Institution for the Deaf and Dumb, Swansea Institution for the Blind and various other orphanages and training ships in and around Swansea.
I would love to hear from anyone who is trying to find their families in any of these institutions and would be very pleased to check my research to see if I have any records relating to them.
