Can someone tell me what the 'Request Review' does?
I was frightened to click on it not knowing what it means!

Sorry if its a really silly question

Hi Gail.

The "Request View" is there as a way of notifying GR " Genes Reuntied " to review a certain thread or post that you see on the site that you may not feel happy about.

ie: It is a means of reporting any post or thread topic that may offend you personally.( An offensive or abusive post )

GR will then review the post/thread topic you reported, and may delete it, if they feel it is neccesary to do so, and it breaks their TC ( Terms and Condition ) rules.

Also, if a particular member has several posts deleted, they are likely to be prevented from making further postings on the boards. Their suspension may last for a day, a week, a month, or even be permanent, depending on how serious the breach of terms was.

If you click on the Request review tab it actually opens a box for you to type your message setting out your objections to the post or thread. You then have to submit that to GR before anything can happen.

So, just clicking won't do any lasting harm.....!
