O' woe is me! Search for Kathleen O'Flaherty born Bushypark Co Galway c.1895 (father Patrick O'Flaherty on marriage cert) revealed nothing on the free access Irish 1911! Happily waited for 1901 census to come on line and searched again.....no family O'Flaherty or the names I needed. So went on a 1911 browse into Galway rural and came up with the inhabitants of Bushypark. The only family there with the right christian names for father and some siblings had the surname of Faherty (signed as such by wife Mary ~married, but Patrick missing fom census)and the nearest to Kathleen was Katherine (Katie in 1901) No other family with either surname. Is it possible she changed her name? The marriage was in Wigan Lancs in 1920 and she was 25. Any thoughts on this? Haven't got Ancestry to look for a birth or baptism for Kathleen but we know she was born in Bushypark.

Have you looked on the English census? The family may have moved to England earlier than you think.

Irish bdms are on the familysearch record search pilot. There are no O'Flahertys for around 1895 but there are some Kate/Katherine/Catherine Flahertys
