Does anyone know if there is any further information to be had other than the RN records which I have been able to download from the National Archives?

My grandfather's brother Colin Campbell was born 10/10/1887 in North Shields. He was in the navy for many years and I have his records and can track him up to the 1911 census when he was stationed in Hong Kong with the China Fleet on HMS Newcastle.

Last record is 1938 which says demobd 5/10/1938 (by then in RN reserve) after this I know nothing about him other than the family were very proud of him for his long service record. Was wondering if any other record might give me a clue where he went when he left navy, names ,addresses etc.

thanks
