AHH i see what you mean .I was thinking your question another way!! anyway old electoral rolls are usually at the Main Library of the town . they may do a look up for you ,some do FOC and some will charge or say they dont offer that service.

I thought I could find out which uncle lived at the addresses that I have,so it looks like a trip to Brighton or do you think I could phone?

if you are looking for him before he went in to Army then finding an uncle on the electoral roll wont tell you if he was there too as the electoral roll only listed those over 21

My Dad lived with an uncle in Brighton after his mother died. I know of 2 addresses where he lived as a child but, one was a block of flats. He went in the army when he was 16 in 1929. I would like to find out which uncle he lived with.I have the names of them all from the census. Any tips would be a help.I don't live there anymore so perhaps I will have to go back. Thanks for any info. Regards Anne
