hi everyone, what does it mean if a person has died and they couldnt find any family,and they say the estate has gone to the duchy[not sure thats how you spell it] and is there a web site where you can look at things like that. many thanks mgt

thanks for your help pigletspal only i think this has happened to a great aunt of mine,[dont want any financial gain] as it was years and years ago , but just wondered what happened in those circumstances. many thanks again .mgt
