Yes. My father- in-law was most miffed when her WDYTYA prog focused on her mother's side rather than on her father's - the Tomalins. He was hoping to find if they are linked, so I thought I'd see what I could find. have access to UK records, but not US, so this was the final record I needed confirmation of. They are distant cousins, so he will be chuffed!

Dad's in his 80s and travelled the country visiting record offices in his younger days. He is amazed that so much research can now be done by computer.

Phillip was Susan's dad. He was Arthur's son. Perhaps she was named after her great grandmother Susanna Beams?

That fits. They were living in the same area of London prior to emigrating.
