I am having difficulty when I go into my messages. I used to be able to read what I had sent or received from other members but not now. All I get is the contact details. What am i doing wrong? Could someone please help me.

you need to click on the message not the name

They are in the process of "improving" the site *?*£$%
Try clicking on the "subject" not the posters name.

I had an email this morning, saying a member had opened his tree for me. When I go into GR I cannot find the message and his tree is not available to view???

I have had a couple of emails saying trees have been opened....why??? I dont want them

Nothing in inbox but they are there for me to view when I open my tree up

Hi June, I know what you mean, When I click on the person's message I get a list of all people who have contacted me, even though they should not be listed under this person's name and are in no way conntacted to the subject matter or the other member. I'ts sooooo frustrating.

I am waiting for it to calm down, but am worried that it may mean other people can see any messages I have sent to other member's.

If other people can see the content of private messages sent and received between people,then I think that there are going to be some rather Irate Upset and Tooootally ticked off people on here.)

Edits....Phew,wipes brow,seems not.

Bet everyone is shuddering at the thought of it though.....

Lou, I have the same today. The list of messages between myself and Fred Bloggs is followed by all the messages I have ever exchanged with anybody. Will try to find out if Fred can see all these too.
