How do I find these entries to delete/amend -
When looking at People in your tree - I have 5 of the above entries - I have entered (Mother) and ( Father) in the search my tree box - but it comes back not found

I want to deal with these few remaining entries - How can I find them -

Many Many thanks

Each child MUST have two parents. You cannot delete only change.

Thanks SatNav - I did understand that - for example - when searching thru - very old parish records - you find a birth - says s/o Richard Blank - you know you are looking for Richard Blanks children - but the records only show the fathers name - I have entered them - the system - as you say - automatically generates a (Mother) entry

I know I have 5 (mother) entries and ! (father) entry -( probably a base born -

I want now to clear them up - I have sat here click click clicking on names - looking for the entries -

The name search normally used to quickly find say Richard Blank - does not work when you enter in surname (Mother) and (Father)

Thank you

Also - I have read on these boards that capital letters are the means used to shout - did MUST have to be shouted at me

Sat Nav
Well I can honestly say - I have really tried searching - (mother) (Mother) mother Mother - in surname only and in christian and surname - and No matches found

Thanks for responding - think I will log out and restart again - if your system can do it mine should be able - perhaps it got itself in a loop somehow

Thank you

Irene
