As Thomas and Margaret were both born Cork Ballinscara, prehaps the marriage may have taken place there.

Sorry i know nothing about Irish records, do you have any access to records for cork c1892-1900?

There may be a death fo previous wife? listed as wife of thomas????

quite possibly - especially as Thomas was about 37 when he married Jane. I have NO idea how'd i'd find another marriage though as i dont know who he might've married - there are also quite a few Thomas Greens in Ireland at the time!

Do you think Thomas may have been married before and that Margaret was from that marriage?

Its just theres quite a large age gap between Margaret and Annette Mary, but 2 more children quite quickly after her.

I wonder if it would be worth looking for an earlier Thomas Green Marriage?

Just been searching the 1901 irish census but I can't locate any of them and I can't find them here either but it would appear that they came here between 1902 and 1904.
Margaret was obviously born before they married so is she a Green or a Sliney?

Excellent, that confirms they were in Bristol. Any ideas on Thomas or Jane pre 1911?

Hello,

I am again completely stuck with the Irish lot! I have:
Thomas Green b 1863ISH married to Jane Sliney b 9th March 1870 in Middleton, Cork. They were married in 1900 in Middleton. They moved to Bristol at some point before moving to Wales (Mumbles/Oystermouth area) I've looked on so many Irish records sites - Cant even find Thomas Green being born! Thomas was a Mariner so may have been away when the census was recorded. I'm not sure how many children they had - I know one for sure - Annette Mary Green b 1902.
I would really appreciate your help as my brain has got tangled with this ellusive family!
