thanks everyone for looking sorry i didnt get back but my sister and kids arrived. !! i dont have john and annies marriage cert as this is my friends family. i know that would be the best thing to get but she has little income at the moment her hubby lost his job.
i did find this on ancestry it is a female born c1906 coming from china. her name is H Wohlters !! wonder if there is any connection

Searched 1911 census for those born in Hong Kong. Even if misspelt I cannot see him on it.

Can't find him on the 1911even trying variants of spellings. No credit now.
I notice his address was 5 Pritchard St Salford when he signed up in 1914.
Clayton le moors marriage. I live 2 miles away.

John Henry Wohlters - I have found his war records and it says he was born in Hong Kong China. so that stumped me right away. !!!

I wonder if he was in this country on the 1911 census ? if anyone could find any info regarding him it would be very much appreciated
