You could try FMP, they have deaths at sea and marine deaths up to 1965 (I think).

I have just googled "deaths at sea" and there are lots of different sites with lists, depending on what sort of ship and where.

Suggest you try this and choose the one that looks most appropriate.

please could somebody tell me if there are any records for people who died at sea my great great grandfather was a fireman on a steamer but i dont know hwere to look any help you be appreciated thanks
