Please can someone advise me? I have found a few tasty morsels on the above site but can't figure out how to copy info without typing all of it out. If I click on "copy" it says it has been copied to my computer's clipboard - but it seems not!
Any help much appreciated.
Many thanks.

do you want to copy and paste it on to peoples threads when you do lookups for them? if so click on copy then come out of pilot site then left click on mouse then click paste.

click on File, then select save as, and give it a file name , then press save
am asuming you just want to save the info for your self if not then do the copy and paste method

DOH! Didn't think of using save option on File, silly me. Tried to copy & paste from original but it won't let me.
Thanks so much for the advice folks, should be OK now - I hope!!

I save them as PDF files.

To do this you need what is called a 'PDF Print Driver' which is basically a PDF file creator that pretends to be a printer and saves whatever you print to it.

I save all my census transcriptions and numerous other genealogical finds on the web like this.

The one I use for Windows is called PrimoPDF and is free http://www.primopdf.com/ .

Install it and when you click print in the web browser change the printer from your normal printer to the Primo PDF printer. PrimoPDF will pop up and ask you what filename you want to save the print as.

Mark.
