I am looking for any information re John Edward Hastings and Richard Hastings both of whom emmigrated to New York in the early 1890s.
John Edward was born on the 21 April 1870 in London and departed England on the 12 June 1890 on board the Teutonic. I know that he arrived as I have a letter that he wrote home dated July 1890 saying that he had found work - then nothing.
Richard Hastings was born 19 November 1871 in London. He emmigrated to the USA in August 1892 on board the Germanic, with his sister-in-law Florence and nephew Warren as they journied to be re united with William Granville Hastings a Sculptor who left England in 1891.
I can find many records for William thru his works, but nothing about John and Richard following their arrival in New York.
Their parents were William Hastings and Willimina Mackay.
