It says he is unmarried on the 1881 census and his marriage certificate from a few month later in 1881 says he was a bachelor

Thomas lived at 37 Church Road, Liverpool- boarding with Esther Carter
When he got married a couple of months later he was living at Park Hill Road

Thomas Anderson's father was John Anderson (deceased) and he was a Farmer

I am looking for a Thomas Anderson. From his marriage certificate it states he is 47 which would make his D.O.B around 1834.

He married Martha Pownall on 9th June 1881 in Toxteth, Liverpool.
They had a son - John Anderson b 13th March 1884 in Wavertree West Derby. Martha (his mother) died in soon after the birth in May 1884. The 1891 and 1901 census show John living with the Carter family in Liverpool. In 1911 he married Mary Ablett in Liverpool.

I havent been able to find ANY records for Thomas Anderson before 1881 or after 1884. The only information i have gained from the 1881 census and their marriage certificate was that he was an iron worker, the census states he was born in Scotland.

I have been searching for him for a very long time and am completely baffled! If anyone can help with either finding a mention of Thomas or has suggestions of where next to look I'd be very grateful.
