Linda,

Welsh records are much the same as their English equivalents. There are some possible difficulties however created by a large number of Welsh people sharing the same names and living within the same area. This makes positively identifying your ancestors a bit harder.

Researching:
Don't put off until tomorrow doing what you can do today. If you like doing it today you can do it again tomorrow. Be kind to your children for it is they who will decide which care home you end up in.

i know what you mean . the family i am looking for have surnames of jones and edwards !!!! how many jones and edwards are there in wales !! to make it worse one of them is named edward edwards !!!!
