Just in case you need a bit more detail around Satnav's suggestion the Canadian archives are excellent. Here's the link the CEF record for John Joseph Fenton born Jan 1877:

It's likely to be the same chap that Choccy posted as he was a Divinity Student, according to his Attestation papers. The back page of the Attestation also gives a physical description.
