Please can any one advise me how i can find out which vessel my grandad Samuel Hughes sailed on. i was told it was hit by a torpedo at the end of WW11, he was from Liverpool

Did he survive? If not, he should be on the CWGC site.

thanks for the info on Samuel i did not know about that site , unfortunately it is not my grandad he would of been in his late forties early fifties.
