I have traced an ancestor to an address in London (1901 census) which seems to be some sort of institution for girls. The head of household's profession is shown as 'Sister In Charger... ' and my ancestor's relation to Head as 'Pupil'
Would suggest some sort of school but does anyone know how I can check this out and find out more . Many thanks

sounds a silly question but have you tried googling the address and see what comes up?

Julie,

If it is in the census then the address of the institution must be there. It may be on a previous page; you will need to scroll backwards until you find it.
