Hi all, I'm desperately stuck trying to find anymore info on my g.g.grandfather Robert (or John) Scott b1863 in Campbeltown, Scotland. He had a son with Margaret Martin b1865(born Campbeltown), but cannot find marriage. Their child was Malcolm Scott b1883-1950 who married Elizabeth Smith b1884-1955 and they lived in the South Shields area. I have Malcolm and Liz's marriage cert which says Malcolms father is John Scott and a joiner. I have looked on Scotland's People and am struggling!! Can anyone offer any advice??
