just to let you know that my source has got the marriage info about Andrew Low(e) and Hannah Cooper on 18 aug 1835 Audley parish
but there are no fathers names?
vicar Thos Garrett ,,,witnessess Sampson Skinner / what looks like Lambet Hitsitch ?
Hannah is down as spinster on both marriages.

the only daughter between Andrew Low and Hannah Cooper was Harriett Lowe b 1836 she always used the
2 surnames Harriett Lowe Cooper after Hannah married John Cooper.
and my source has the birth of another child of Hannah / John,,,,,,(, Edward Cooper ) and on birth mother Hannah is down as cooper late lowe formerly cooper.
So i know i,m on the right track.
i,m pretty sure her father is Edward Cooper but its finding the marriage of him to who ever is her mother?
but what to do next ?
any ideas ? please!!

Hello Jan,

I have just sent a message to a source of mine sharing the same family , she was the one who gave me the info about first marriage , so i have asked to see she has his marriage hopefully she has ! and the fathers names are on
it , fingers crossed.
But if not it looks like me doing what you have stated,

Will have to go now be back tomorrow hopefully by then my source has got in touch.

Well, it might have some witnesses I guess, and with luck her father's name. If you can't get to the local records office you might have a Mormon family history centre near you - they will order it in for a small fee.

NO Jan,i have not seen that marriage. Andrew LOW (E) 1835 Audley.

I did find a poss parents match for Hannah on family search but cannot seem to find them on 1841 ect.
Edward Cooper marr Ann Hill
24 ap 1804 Newcastle underlyme

and there is a Edward / elizabeth Cooper b 1781 and family on 1841 census but nothing concrete .

I wonder if it would be worth looking at the actual parish record for her 1st marriage? Or have you seen it already?

So, if she is not stated as a widow on her 2nd marriage cert, she must be down as a Spinster. Possibly she just gave her father's name as Edward and the vicar/registrar assumed her father's surname was the same as her own.

may i say thank you for your interest .

No she is not a widow her first husband was deported for felony so i assume she had it annulled.
Its her second marriage to John Cooper with info.
I cannot find any siblings for either of them but i am mostly trying to proove Hannah,s father is Edward Cooper because of error on marriage cert .and also her mothers name and Hannahs siblings.

ps,,,,, Her name was nee,, Hannah Cooper / married Low / married Cooper

Florence, a bit confused! Are we looking for Hannah Cooper who married Andrew Low and then married John Cooper? Does her marriage cet to John Cooper show her as a widow?

Can someone help please in finding out who Hannah Cooper b 1817 parents are? and siblings?
I have census after her marriage so i do not want any of those.
she was married twice Andrew low 1835 Audley then to John Cooper
1839 Wolstanton on marriage to John Cooper they have her father as Edward Low (e) I think that it must be an error on the registra part as she was cooper before marriage to Low.
Hannah Cooper was born 1817 Knutton Heath. Newcastle underlyme her husband John Cooper b Apedale Betley.
Her father a labourer and Johns father a wassman? ( i think it means wasteman to do with mining) the occ ranges in the family between mining and Ag lab.
