Thanks Glitter Baby.

No wonder I couldn't get a lead on him.
He was born Caines, married for the first time as Caines, his wife died and then he remarries as Cain and died as Cain.

By working backwards on the 1911 being married 34nyrs, I picked up the second marriage and then his death.
